Today the girls in my family went wedding dress shopping for Heather. We went to David's Bridal, not really expecting to find a dress she could modestly wear, but it happened. My mom will have to make a jacket thingy to wear over it, but it is beautiful and screams Heather. I'd post a picture, but it isn't my dress. She tried on six dresses and as soon as she walked out in the sixth, we all knew it was the one. She didn't want to take it off, tears were shed and everyone was smiling from ear to ear. During the day devoted to Heather, we also decided on her colors and the type of dresses the three brides maids will wear and the type of dresses the flower girls will wear. We even went to Jared's to pick out a ring for Andrew and I never saw it, but she is happy she found one. She also found a band of bagettes that looks good with her ring for a wedding band. I was too busy looking at rings for me to pay attention to her shopping for Andrew. I found this gorgeous ring that sparkles like none other! I can't stop thinking about it... Hmmm... :) It was a very successful day. We all had a lot of fun too.

I, of course, did baptisms with my cousins. I was so excited. I am quite the temple buff, if I do say so myself. Well, about the buildings, not the ordinances. Anyway, I was so excited. While walking up the steps before going in, I told my mom that was are so cool to be going into the Nauvoo Temple. The baptistery is so huge compared to Dallas. I'd say it is about four times larger than the Dallas baptistery. The font itself, you could go swimming in. We were blessed enough to be able to take our own family names to do the work for. I ended up being the proxy for 18 people, which wore me out, but it was so worth it and amazing. After we were done and while we were waiting for our family file name cards to be stamped, I was able to peek into the assembly room. 
It was so exciting to do that. We were also able to return from the baptistery to first floor of the temple using the spiral staircase. That too was amazing and so exciting. I could barely smile without my face splitting in two. :)
After everyone was done with their movies, we went to Grapevine Lake to watch the fire works. While waiting for them to start, Kelsea, Heidi and I took random pictures to entertain ourselves.
As soon as the fireworks started we realized that we weren't in all that great of a position to see the fireworks. You never can tell until they start. We walked around for a while and found a decent place to watch the fireworks. 
Of course once the fireworks were over we sat in traffic trying to get out of there. While trying to get out I was a jerk and didn't let anyone in. I felt really bad because I wanted to, but I didn't know my way out and I was following my aunt and uncle. I tell you all this because as I'm parked in line to get out, really really close to my uncle's car so no one tries to get in, I noticed a huge red Dodge Ram truck trying to back out and squeeze into line. I immediately noticed that there was no way this big truck is going to miss my car if he continues on. I started honking my horn, I started yelling at his passenger to get him to stop, but no... He didn't, he hit my car. I started yelling and threw my phone down (I was talking to my aunt in the car ahead of me.) and then I stalled my car because I forgot I was in gear. I was freaking out, I started to cry and just figured, nothing else could go wrong in my life right now, why not add a car damage. I was very happy to discover that he didn't do any damage to my car...which was all they were worried about. They didn't even say they were sorry to me. I got back in my car and we then discovered we could watch the movie playing in my aunts car and even get reception to the movie. So, for the next 20 minutes, we watch some Barbie movie. What a day...
I am excited for the movie and can't wait to how they make that big of a book into a movie, but I'm really excited for the book. I've been preparing by listening to books five and six on CD on the road trip home from Utah and then at home while painting, so I am ready. I'm all caught up so that I can remember what is all going on. I love the hype of the book coming out. The J.K. Rowling interviews, the night before at Barnes and Noble with my little cousins, all the speculating and once I have the book, staying up all weekend until I have it read. It is going to be a good time. Something to look forward to when nothing is going on in my life... Thank goodness for Harry.
