Happy Birthday to me...

For someone who feels like every year is going faster and faster and can't seem to realize how fast time goes (except for when you're engaged), I can't believe I'm turning 24 today... Wasn't I just a teenager? I mean, I don't really feel like I was turning 19 yesterday or anything...and I have had a ton of wonderful experiences since then. (Traveling a lot, making wonderful friends, getting married, graduating college.) However, by the numbers, it just feels a little weird to already be turning 24. I would never go back...not for one instant though. I do like getting older and my 20s have been great...well I take that back 21 was the worst year of my life...but wow -- 24!

All About Curt...

So, since I was tagged by Lacey all of y'all get to find out a little about my husband...

What is his name? Curt Russell Whitworth
How long have we been together? Six months total...
How old is he? 23
How long did we date? 4 and a half months before we were married
Who eats more? I would say him, but in the past week or so I would say me...
Who said "I love you" first? He did, even though I was in love first...
Who is taller? Him, thank goodness. :)
Who can sing better? Definitely him.
Who is smarter? Mostly him, however every once in a while I teach him something.
Who does the laundry? Mostly me, but he does a good amount and helps me out. We don't have a washer and dryer so it is always a slight challenge to figure out when and where we are going to get our next load of laundry done...
Who does the dishes? Mostly Curt.
Who sleeps on the right side of the bed? He does...I don't really know why he got the right side. Before we were married we both slept on the right side and I guess since he moved in first and put his stuff on the right night stand, he didn't have to change...
Who mows the lawn? We don't have a lawn, but I have never mowed a lawn in my life, so it will probably be him when we do. But then again his allergies are so bad that I might bite the bullet and learn how... except he likes doing it, so maybe not. We'll see.
Who cooks dinner? I do, however Curt always helps and he has cooked me dinner several times.
Who kissed who first? Curt, but it is actually a funny story that ends up with me having to help him out because he didn't know how to go about kissing a girl since he never had before. :) It is one of those moments I'll always treasure because he was just so cute.
Who proposed? Curt did. I definitely knew it was coming since I'd picked my ring out and I'd suspected he'd bought it...plus we were already starting to talk about some little details...like the date and where we should have the reception. He did a perfect job though. He made me dinner and we danced in the living room. I was so thrilled it was happening and he was so nervous (even though we already had a date and he knew I wouldn't say no...). It was perfect.
Who is more stubborn? I really can't think of an instance when either of us have been stubborn.
Who is more sensitive? Definitely me.

I tag Andi, Camille and Lesley (however, Lesley, I still haven't been invited to your blog, so not only should you do this, you should let me read it... :) )

The joys of being employed as a customer service representative...

I really like my job... Especially at those moments when you realize how glad you are for your education, your life style and your values. I'll explain what I mean by this. I talk to a lot of people in the course of one day. I answer phones, listen to people tell me about their problems and I solve it. Sometimes it gets a little challenging when all you hear is people complaining, but for the most part I don't have a problem -- especially when I get entertaining calls. I answered a call earlier this week from a mother with three children. She had purchased two class pictures for each child, but had only received one. To handle this problem I need the following information: the school, the kid's names, the kid's teacher's name and the grade the children are in. The following are the names...but I changed them because my blog is public.

Darius Williams in the 2nd grade
Angel Wright in Kindergarten
Lakisha Randal in Pre-Kindergarten

Wait... What?!? Did I hear you right? Hmmm... Kind of fishy. :)
